12 MonthsSet budget, choose a wedding date, begin venue search.
10-11 MonthsBook venue(s) or tent rental, contact officiating minister. photographer, videographer, entertainment (ensure proper sound system), and caterer. Cake Bakery included.
8-9 MonthsCreate a theme. Select wedding party, wedding attire, and florist to include bouquets, flower baskets, and boutonnieres as well as decorations. Purchase wedding Rings.
6-7 MonthsFinalize your guest list and order invitations .
4-5 MonthsMail invitations, reserve transportation for bridal party, plan honeymoon.
3 MonthsSchedule dress fittings and finalize the menu (including all tastings).
2 Monthsconfirm vendor details,
1 MonthCreate seating chart and obtain your marriage license. Follow up on traditional items eg. candles, broom, headware, and jewelry; something old, borrowed and new.
2 WeeksConfirm final guest count, order souvenirs, set up beauty appointment eg. hair and nails, and a personal stylist for on the day of wedding, and prepare contingencies.
1 WeekPack for Honeymoon and confirm rehearsal. Ensure all non perishable orders are delivered. Ensure all deliveries are ahead of schedule. Review your check-list (don’t forget the rings for the ceremony) .
Day Before WeddingSpa day. Rest!
